About Me.
I’m a Professor of Finance at Imperial College Business School, where I teach the next generation of blockchain billionaires and Web3 wizards. Before this, I was at Harvard Business School, where I founded the Fintech, Crypto, and Web3 Lab, connecting the academic world with the fast-paced world of fintech.

With a PhD from MIT and expertise that spans both the technical and economic dimensions of blockchain, I bridge the gap between old-school finance and the transformative potential of Web3. I've authored Harvard Business School cases on industry heavyweights like Uniswap, Avalanche, and Coinbase, and my research has been published in top academic journals and featured in media outlets like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Bloomberg.

Beyond academia, I’ve served on the advisory board at Coinbase Institute, consulted for companies like Ripple, and I’m currently a board member at the Mina Foundation (a Zero-Knowledge blockchain). I co-founded a company at the intersection of AI and crypto, snagging a spot as one of Binance’s Most Valuable Builders in 2024.

While I’m deeply involved in the digital asset space, I also collaborate with traditional finance players like asset managers and major banks. My aim is to bridge the two worlds—helping legacy finance learn from the innovations of Web3, while guiding the crypto world with lessons from traditional finance.
One thing I’m not? A crypto evangelist. I’ll give you the straight facts: where blockchain truly works and where it falls short. Whether you're a seasoned finance professional or just trying to wrap your head around the latest Web3 buzzwords, I’m here to help you navigate the next wave of financial innovation.
